The location of 21212 is fantastic, tucked away in a quiet area yet just a pleasant walk to the bustling city center. The room was spacious with an enormous bed, well-furnished, and the bathroom felt luxurious with high-quality toiletries. The decor gave a sense of warmth and elegance. I appreciated the staff's friendliness and attentiveness, especially during lunch, where my meal was beautifully presented and tasted amazing. the breakfast left a lot to be desired. it felt quite basic and didn't match the hotel's luxurious ambiance. The lack of tea and coffee facilities in the room was disappointing, especially for a five-star rated establishment. I expected more variety and options. The shared area for tea and coffee felt inconvenient. There was also some noise from outside—single-pane windows don't insulate sound well, which may be a disturbance for lighter sleepers. Despite these issues, the hotel itself felt special, and I enjoyed my time relatively well. Given the reputation of the place, I expected a bit more attention to the minor details, especially regarding breakfast and in-room amenities.

Charming Stay with Culinary Delights
Our stay was memorable, highlighted by exquisite dining that left us in awe. The salmon starter was a showstopper, showcasing creativity. The ambiance encouraged relaxation. I recommend turning off the fridge light for a peaceful night's sleep. A minor detail in an otherwise perfect experience.

The Deluxe Double Room was gorgeous and spacious—seriously the biggest room I've stayed in! The bed was incredibly comfy, and the elegant decor made it feel luxurious. The bathroom was huge and spotless, with plenty of nice touches like snacks and drinks. Only downside was there were no tea and coffee facilities in the room, which was a bit surprising. But honestly, everything else was on point.

Absolutely loved the spacious room with gorgeous decor and all the snacks! The comfy bed felt like a cloud, and I can't wait to return for that incredible breakfast. They really nailed the little details.
But seriously, who knew underfloor heating could double as a sauna? Plus, I had more fun wrestling with the window than getting my beauty sleep!

It was just a suitable option for a city break in Edinburgh with attractive and competitive value for money. The mushroom soup I had was very good, adding a nice touch to the meal. Drink prices can surprise you, so keep an eye on your bill.
